Job Title: Director of Growth
Salary: $120-185k annually + Equity

Role Overview:We're looking for a Director of Growth to help define and execute Terial's marketing and demand generation strategy. You'll report directly to the CEO and operate as a hands-on individual contributor responsible for building our demand generation engine.
You'll own content, campaigns, and events end-to-end while partnering closely with sales and leadership to generate measurable revenue impact. The ideal candidate is an AI-native growth operator who thrives in ambiguity and moves quickly from idea to execution. This is an in-person role (M-Th) at our office in Flatiron NYC.
Key Responsibilities:- Demand Generation: Design and execute multi-channel campaigns (AEO/SEO, SEM, social, growth hacks) to drive qualified leads.
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality content across blogs, case studies, webinars, and customer stories. Build a repeatable content engine that positions Terial as the category leader in commercial roofing software.
- Event Strategy:Own trade show planning and execution, including pre-event planning, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up. Ensure events consistently translate into measurable pipeline and revenue.
- Growth Experimentation: Run rapid, data-driven experiments across channels, messaging, and audience segments. Identify repeatable acquisition strategies and scale what works.
- Brand & Positioning: Help define and refine Terial's voice in the market. Translate product capabilities into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with contractors and operators.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with sales, customer success, product and leadership to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless customer journey.
Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in growth, marketing or GTM roles at high-growth B2B SaaS startups, with preference towards early-stage and vertical SaaS.
- Strong content and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling, clear, and customer-centric messaging across multiple channels.
- AI-native mindset, with demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to increase output, improve workflows, and drive insights.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter, no ego, curious and comfortable navigating ambiguity and wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Highly collaborative: able to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and leadership teams to drive outcomes.
- Willingness to travel (up to ~10%) for trade shows, customer events and field marketing initiatives.
- Experience marketing to construction, trades, or field-service industries is a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:Salary: $120,000 - $185,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
