JOB SUMMARY

As a lead member of the Human Resources Team, serves as a strategic partner to Business Unit (BU) leadership, providing expertise in all areas of human resources management, Including HR Management and Labor and Workforce Strategy that supports the business unit's objectives while fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership:
  • Collaborates with Business Unit team to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Provides guidance and insight on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.


Talent Acquisition and Management:
  • Partners with Talent Acquisitions to develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for the BU.
  • Provides feedback and oversight with respect to performance management to assess and develop employee skills and competencies.
  • Engages with Talent Strategy to evaluate current talent and provide feedback on career pathways and development goals and strategies.
  • Designs and delivers training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Implements professional development initiatives to support career growth and advancement.


Employee Relations:
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to promote a positive employee relations environment and strategy.
  • Provides guidance and support to managers and professionals at all levels of the organization on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.


HR Compliance:
  • Manages and aligns their HR Team to ensure compliance and support across their BU and the Company as a whole.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation.
  • Ensures the implementation of policies and procedures to mitigate compliance risks and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.


HR Technology:
  • Oversees the administration of the HRIS for accuracy and alignment.
  • Utilizes data analytics to drive HR decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
  • Promotes HR and employee relations through the utilization of technology through many different facets of Hunman Resources.


EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • SHRM certification or equivalent preferred.
  • 10 year progressive experience in human resources management, with a focus on labor relations, including experience in labor negotiations and collective bargaining


KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / COMPETENCIES
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
