Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Strategy, the Director will work closely with senior executives, business-line leaders and stakeholders across the Bank to lead complex strategy engagements, generate insights and develop recommendations that shape the Bank's most important priorities.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Strategy Projects - Must-Win Priorities
    • Lead a broad range of strategy engagements across the Bank, including business-line priorities and enterprise initiatives. Partner with stakeholders to structure complex problems, conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, assess strategic and financial implications, and develop and present compelling recommendations to senior leadership.
    • Design and facilitate problem-solving sessions, workshops, and interviews with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to generate insights, build alignment, and advance strategic priorities.
    • Build alignment across business lines and corporate functions to advance strategic priorities and drive enterprise outcomes.
    • Partner with business-line leaders to shape strategic priorities and support the development of plans aligned to the Bank's broader strategic objectives.
    • Synthesize complex findings into clear recommendations, implementation roadmaps, and governance approaches, and present them effectively to senior leaders to drive strategic outcomes.
    • Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior executives, helping define priorities, assess trade-offs, and navigate complex strategic decisions.
  • Thought Leadership
    • Provide thought leadership and constructive challenge on the design and advancement of strategic priorities and must-win opportunities.
    • Monitor emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and strategic issues to assess their implications for the Bank and its business-line strategies.
    • Act as a strategic counsel and thought partner for senior executives - both within the context of strategy project and on an ongoing basis
    • Design and support executive strategy discussions and offsites, helping senior leaders evaluate key priorities, align on strategic direction, and address emerging opportunities and challenges.


  • Executive Communications
    • Support the CEO agenda, including all-bank strategy, business line value creation projects, strategic planning, Board-level communications, and being a trusted advisor to senior leaders
    • Develop clear, compelling presentations and communications that translate complex strategic issues into actionable insights for senior executives, Executive Committee, and Board audiences.
    • In partnership with Global Communications, develop executive communications and strategic messaging that clearly articulate the Bank's priorities to internal and external stakeholders. Support the planning and delivery of key leadership, employee, and external events.


  • Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management
    • Contribute to the growth and development of the Enterprise Strategy team through recruiting, coaching, mentorship, knowledge sharing, and fostering strong partnerships across the Bank.
    • Ensure the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture are appropriately considered in all activities, recommendations, and decisions.
    • Champion a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates top talent by fostering an inclusive work environment

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
