Full Job Description
permanent, full-time DigitalInnovation Developer who will analyze, design, develop and maintaininformation systems, ensuring they meet our business requirements and improveoperational efficiency.

In this role, you will be a valued member of Dawson Group and will support our partnership with RightMetric, acting as the embedded developer for the RightMetric business. As time progresses, the role will serve otherinnovation needs across Dawson Group.

You will work closely with RightMetric'sleadership, product, and data teams as well as Dawson Group's sister companies tohelp shape, establish, and deliver on their digital transformation journey. Youwill play a key part in identifying and implementing opportunities to embed AIacross our businesses - integrating systems, automating processes, andleveraging intelligent solutions to drive productivity, efficiency, andinnovation. You will help design anddevelop the logic layer of our digital ecosystem - turning current manualprocesses into minutes of automated output. This position is fully remote, enabling you to collaborate seamlesslyacross teams while contributing to the evolution of our digital ecosystem.
This role will focus on 3 key areas:
  1. Internalworkflow automation and efficiency - utilize technical solutions, APIs,and business logic to eliminate friction points or inefficiencies in internaloperations, leading to measurable improvements in team output and speed.
  2. Solutionarchitecture and organizational adoption - actas a technical leader who can shape help shape digital solutions and instill ahigh-velocity development culture across the organization
  3. Maintenanceand enhancements of existing automation solutions -learn existing in-house digital solutions and products, formerly developed bytechnical teams and contractors. Taketechnical ownership for the systems and provide maintenance and support.
WHATSUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • Design, develop and deploy integrated automation solutions that connect and streamline processes across core business tools
  • Take technical ownership of existing systems and solutions - evaluating architecture, addressing gaps, and evolving them into scalable, maintainable, and well-governed platforms
  • Orchestrate AI driven workflows that gather data, analyze trends, and produce business outputs with traceability
  • Deliver rapid, functional Proofs of Concept (POCs) within short 2- or 3-week cycles - then mature the highest-value prototypes into stable, maintainable outputs
  • Act as a trusted technical partner, translating business needs and operational pain points into actionable solutions
  • Serve as the technical liaison for internal teams and third-party developers - providing architectural guidance that supports scalable, sustainable systems


WHAT YOU BRING
  • Adegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field- or equivalent hands-on experience demonstrating strong capability in systems,automation, or integration
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in software development orproduct management. Within this, 1-3years of designing, building, and maintaining automation or digital workflowsolutions including integrations, CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts orotherwise.
  • Proficiency with modern developmentlanguages such as Python and JavaScript, including experience with frameworksand runtime environments like React and Node.js
  • Experience using GitHub for sourcecontrol, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new languages,frameworks, and tools
  • Practical experience working with APIs, system integrations,and cloud-based business platforms (for example, CRM and collaborationsystems)
  • Experience with modern AI-assisteddevelopment tools (such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot) along withhands-on use of AI tools (LLMs, agent development, API to AgenticFrameworks) to incorporate intelligentcapabilities into digital solutions
  • Business acumen - an understanding of business concepts thatwill enable you to navigate conversations effectively and identify streamliningopportunities
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into cleartechnical requirements and practical solution designs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solvingskills - able to quickly understand existing processes and identify clearimprovement opportunities
  • A continuous-improvement mindset with a focus on using automation, data,and AI to streamline operations and remove friction
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producingmaintainable, scalable, and high-quality technical solution
  • Strong communication skills - able to translate businessneeds into practical technical solutions and collaborate effectively with bothtechnical and non-technical stakeholders
