Full Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION

The Data Scientist at EXLService.com, LLC in New York, NY, will be part of the digital team within EXL Health building healthcare cloud platforms. Develop and convert legacy processes to AI-based healthcare products. Convert existing traditional predictive models to Machine Learning (ML) based models. 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and develop new ML/Natural Language Processing (NLP) models. 
  • Design, train, and implement ML/deep learning architectures. 
  • Establish evaluation metrics, analyze performance, brainstorm on future steps/expansion, and perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and data visualization. 
  • Build multi-feature ML classification model for various clinical programs/clients. 
  • Design and develop natural language processing (NLP) models to work on unstructured medical records to improve our in-house algorithms. 
  • Oversee delivery of results with analytic insights, interpretations, and recommendations. 
  • Review analytic deliverables; identify and resolves data issues and provide recommendations for investigations.
  • Design, develop-evolve, and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with governance policies.
  • Propose new and state-of-the-art technologies and processes that will improve efficiency and enhance the reporting platform. 
  • Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Requires Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related quantitative technical field plus three (3) years of Experience as a Data Scientist or a related occupation. 

Must have at least three (3) years of experience with the following:

  • Building machine learning/NLP models.
  • Building and deploying ML classification models using Python and ML libraries including, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-Learn, and PyTorch.
  • Statistics, segmentation, clustering, linear and logistic predictive models, and machine learning models, including Random Forest and Ensemble.
  • Distributed data warehouses or data lakes.
  • Cloud database.
  • Building and implementing Neural networks and Deep Learning models.
  • Performing statistical analysis, data exploration, and data visualization using Python and ML libraries, including Numpy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
  • Gathering, preprocessing and compiling data from various sources using SQL.

Alternatively, the employer also accept aBachelordegree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related quantitative technical field plus five (5) years of experience as a Data Scientist or a related occupation in lieu of aMasterdegree plus three (3) years of described experience.

Must have at least five (5) years of experience with the following:

  • Building machine learning/NLP models.
  • Building and deploying ML classification models using Python and ML libraries including, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-Learn, and PyTorch.
  • Statistics, segmentation, clustering, linear and logistic predictive models, and machine learning models, including Random Forest and Ensemble.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $173,000 to $175,000 per year.
