Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and analytics, with at least 3 years in Microsoft Fabric or equivalent Azure data platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with the full Microsoft Fabric stack, including Data Factory and Power BI architecture.
• Proficiency in Power BI at an architect level with 6+ years of experience in dimensional modeling and advanced DAX.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with experience in query optimization from large Oracle/JD Edwards databases.
• Familiarity with Azure fundamentals including Entra ID, ADLS Gen2, and security model management.

Responsibilities

• Own and design the target-state architecture for Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory and Spark notebooks.
• Architect and manage ingestion from Oracle/JD Edwards, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Design enterprise-grade semantic models optimizing performance across various data access methods.
• Define and implement Power BI governance standards including RLS, licensing, and dataset management.
• Establish CI/CD processes through Git integration for deployment and cost optimization.
• Mentor and review work of engineers, BI developers, and analysts to ensure standards compliance.
