As a Core Analytics & Insights Engineer II on the AI & Data team, you will provide data analytics, visualization, and reporting support to enhance internal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop dashboards, reports, and other analytical products using Power BI, Excel, and related business intelligence tools.
• Support data requests from Executive Branch stakeholders by translating business questions into accurate, clear, and actionable insights.
• Use Databricks and Palantir Foundry, to prepare, integrate, analyze, and visualize data.
• Design and implement data management infrastructure to support reliable, scalable, and repeatable analytics.
• Automate extract, transform, and load processes to streamline data preparation and enable front-end reporting.
• Apply advanced data modeling concepts to develop efficient, maintainable, and reporting-ready data structures.
• Collaborate with business, operational, and technical stakeholders to define requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose analytics solutions.
• Conduct data validation and quality checks to promote accuracy, consistency, and confidence in reporting outputs.
• Document data sources, transformation logic, reporting processes, and technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, reduce manual effort, and expand the use of data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule - onsite 3-4 days per week in Washington, D.C.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, data management, data visualization, and process automation
• 2+ years of experience developing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports
• 2+ years of experience with Excel, and one or more business intelligence tools, sucj as Power BI or Tableau
• 2+ years of experience in SQL, Python, or other data preparation and analytics technologies
• 2+ years of experience working with Databricks or a comparable cloud-based data and analytis platform
• 2+ years of experience supporting ETL processes, data integration, or data management infrastructure

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,500 to $170,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
