The Corporate Account Manager will report to the Vice President, Business Development and will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with national corporate groups, account executives, and consultants. This position requires close collaboration with various Medavie Blue Cross operational teams and business units to deliver exceptional, customized service to our large corporate clients. The successful candidate will also be responsible for presenting and promoting new products and services, contributing to client engagement and satisfaction. A key focus of this role is supporting client retention during renewal periods by ensuring a consistently high level of service and responsiveness across all areas of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships of trust with our corporate national groups.
  • Plan, prepare and execute a tailored and proactive strategy to meet client's needs. Must go over and above standard processes/contracts to innovate new ways of meeting client's expectations.
  • Coordinates internal activities to achieve client's expectations.
  • Play a central role in finalist presentations, trainings, briefings with the corporate account executives, plan administrators and consultants.
  • Promote our new products and services to our existing and new national corporate groups. Organizes and coordinates tailor-made promotional campaigns for its clients.
  • Plan and coordinate governance meetings.


About you:
  • You hold a university or college diploma in a relevant field.
  • You bring over 5 years of experience in group insurance, making you a subject matter expert in group benefits.
  • You have a strong customer-centric mindset and consistently deliver exceptional service.
  • You're a natural problem solver, able to navigate complex challenges with confidence.
  • You thrive in collaborative environments but are equally self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • You communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clarity and professionalism.


Other:
  • Group insurance licence issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
  • Having a driver's license is mandatory as this position will require travel within an assigned region
  • English proficiency is required to perform the duties of the role, which include daily collaboration with teams and partners outside Québec who operate primarily in English
