Summary:This role will support CAE development activities.
Responsibilities:- Utilize Ansa for preprocessing tasks and meshing.
- Responsible for dynamic and/or static, linear and/or nonlinear analysis utilizing Abaqus
- Interpret data, develop, and report countermeasures using nCode and Metapost for post processing.
- Must be able to optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results.
- Communicates effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance.
- Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve product and/or processes.
- Utilizes Excel to create and update project schedules.
- Travel to client site required.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years relevant exp. or Master's degree in Engineering and 3+ years relevant exp
- Education with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing
- Experience with CAE tools Abaqus, Ansa, and nCode are required.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including excel.
Preferred Skills: - CAD design experience preferred
