Full Job Description
Summary:

This role will support the Dimensional Engineering projects by performing variation simulation analysis (VSA), planning, tracking and meeting project objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the dimensional engineering activities for large scale product development programs by performing variation simulation analysis (VSA) using tools like 3DCS and predict the dimensional variations in the automotive systems and sub-systems throughout the many phases of product development.
  • Build up to vehicle level dimensional simulation models in a rigid and compliant environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve dimensional issues as needed.
  • Apply GD&T standards to optimize design and tolerances to meet or exceed dimensional targets, improve product quality, reduce costs, and accelerate time-to-market
  • Document and report findings, providing actionable insights to the product development teams.
  • Act as a liaison between Goken global teams and point of contacts at assigned Client to identify project requirements, understand technical specifications and meet client expectations.
  • Monitor and track the progress of projects and handle any issues that arise. Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Support management with project proposals, scheduling, and quoting.
  • Travel to client sites is required.
