Responsibilities

  • Coordinate market research efforts with company stakeholders.
  • Conduct research to support bid assessment and capture efforts.
  • Collaborate with capture managers, proposal leads, and contracts on task order responses.
  • Analyze target customer sectors to align with growth strategy and BD priorities.

Overview

We are hiring aBusiness DevelopmentManagerwith a relevant combination of education and experience in federal government contracting,conductingresearch,business intelligenceandmarketanalysis, and a solid understanding of the business development lifecycle.In this position, youare responsible forthe day-to-day management, compliance, and strategic growthofourGWAC andIDIQ contract vehicles. The ideal candidate combines strong federal contracts knowledge withtaskmanagement skills to driverevenue throughourgovernment contract vehicles. This rolesupportsthe Director of the Agile Acquisition Service Center within the Business Development Division.

Responsibilities
    • Managingmultiple contract vehicles,maintainingcompliance and performance standards
    • POC for the administration and management of task ordersunderour contract vehicles
    • MonitoringGWAC/IDIQ portals for new task order releases, RFIs, and amendments
    • Responding tomarket researchwith a coordinated effort acrosscompany stakeholders
    • Conducting research requests toassistin capture efforts during bid assessment
    • Supportingtask order responseswith capture managers, proposal leads, and contracts
    • Managingmonthly reports for active task orders asrequired

    • Analyzingtarget customersectorsaligned with our growthstrategy and BD priorities
    • Conductingbusiness intelligence and market analysispertaining toourcontract vehicles
    • Automating repetitive workflows to increase efficiency in the task order lifecycle
Qualifications
    • Bachelorsdegreewith10+yearsexperience in government contracting or a similarindustry
    • Experience withfederal GWACand IDIQ contractvehicles
    • Proficient in using standard IT equipment and software such as Microsoft Office 365 tool suite
    • Internet savvy with the ability to conduct research and analysisusing AI
    • Active DOD Secret clearance
    • A desire to learn new skills, be proactive in supporting the business development team,andwork collaborativelyacross the organizationtomeetcompany growth goals
Pay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $176,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
