Associate III, IT Field Communications role provides hands-on support for the installation, maintenance, and reliability of field communications systems that enable safe and efficient operations. This role works in structured field environments, supporting voice, data, SCADA, video, microwave, and satellite technologies while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
What You'll Do- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot field communications systems, including voice, data, SCADA, video, microwave, and satellite equipment across onshore and offshore facilities.
- Monitor system performance and conduct routine testing to ensure reliable and continuous communications infrastructure.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to support system reliability and operational uptime.
- Support communications projects by coordinating with third-party vendors and contractors.
- Assist with tower construction and maintenance activities, following established safety and operational procedures.
- Diagnose faults, escalate issues when appropriate, and recommend improvements to enhance system performance.
- Collect and analyze operational data to support reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Possess valid driver's license
- Intermediate proficiency of telephony, radio frequency, analog and digital data communications
- Ability to work safely in RF data communications environments and operate a motor vehicle

- Travel up to 50%

- Wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment
- Maintain face daily for proper respirator/face mask seal
What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred- 1 or more years operational or technical systems in a field or plant environment
- FCC license or formal RF-related certification
- Experience supporting SCADA, EGM, microwave, satellite, or video communications systems
- Hands-on experience with radio frequency propagation and tower construction or maintenance
- Experience coordinating communications projects and working with multiple vendors or contractors
- Willingness to travel, work in varying weather conditions, and support multiple geographic locations
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm in critical situations
Compensation Range This position has a base salary range of $72,900 - $89,100.
