Full Job Description
This role serves as a bilingual technical marketing expert supporting Nikon's product marketing efforts across the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America. The individual will act as a technical expert, trainer and multi-regional conduit, ensuring strong product understanding, consistent storytelling, and effective market engagement across regions. In addition to field execution, this role is expected to act as a strategic bridge between headquarters, regional teams (Mexico & LATAM), and in-market execution, ensuring that market insights, customer needs, and competitive dynamics are translated into actionable product marketing strategies.

The position plays a critical role in bridging product marketing and field execution, delivering high-impact training, event support, and localized marketing initiatives, particularly for Spanish-speaking audiences.

This role will play a key role in driving product adoption, improving technical understanding, and strengthening Nikon's positioning across Spanish-speaking markets.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Technical Expertise & Training Leadership
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Nikon cameras and NIKKOR lenses
  • Lead product training programs in English and/or Spanish for internal teams, retail partners, media, and ambassadors via video conference or in-person
  • Deliver high-quality technical presentations and demonstrations in both English and Spanish
  • Translate technical product capabilities into compelling, easy-to-understand messaging
  • Capture feedback from training programs and translate it into actionable insights for product marketing and future product improvements
  • LATAM & Spanish-Speaking Market Activation
  • Act as a primary marketing and training liaison for Mexico and Latin America
  • Support and participate in regional launches, workshops, and events
  • Develop and deliver Spanish-language content, presentations, and training materials
  • Help expand Nikon's reach and engagement with Spanish-speaking audiences in the U.S., Mexico and LATAM
  • Support influencer and ambassador initiatives across these regions
  • Identify market-specific needs, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics in Mexico and LATAM, and translate them into recommendations for product positioning and go-to-market strategy
  • Events, Workshops & Public Speaking
  • Lead and support hands-on workshops, field activations, and experiential events
  • Serve as an on-stage spokesperson representing Nikon at events, media briefings, and partner engagements
  • Ensure technical readiness for events (gear, demos, training support)
  • Capture and share post-event insights and learnings to inform future strategy
  • Ensure that learnings from events and field engagements are systematically captured and shared to inform marketing strategy and product development
  • Go-To-Market & Product Positioning Support
  • Partner with product marketing to develop clear, differentiated messaging for Mexico's market
  • Contribute to launch strategies and market readiness across regions
  • Provide field feedback and insights to improve product positioning and adoption
  • Ensure consistency between technical education and brand messaging
  • Actively contribute to improving go-to-market effectiveness by aligning field insights with product positioning and messaging
  • Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration
  • Work closely with U.S. marketing, Mexico based and LATAM teams
  • Support joint marketing initiatives and regional programs
  • Translate and localize marketing assets for Mexico and LATAM use
  • Ensure marketing assets are shared and communicated with regions

ANCILLARY RESPONSIBILITIES•
  • Participate in trade shows and market-related organizations.
  • Work within cross-functional teams to execute on responsibilities and achieve key business objectives.
  • Work outside of normal hours of operation, as needed, in order to fulfill essential functions and responsibilities.
  • All other duties as required or needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • B.A. in Marketing and/or Business
  • 5+ years' experience in product marketing
  • Aptitude for technology products
  • Strong technical knowledge of camera systems and photography (DSLR/Mirrorless and lenses)
  • Fluent Spanish and English (spoken and written) required, with proven ability to engage and influence Spanish-speaking markets
  • Proven ability as a trainer, presenter, or educator
  • Strong public speaking skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences
  • Experience working with or supporting international markets (Mexico or South American countries preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with time constraint deadlines
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 40% (includes overnight travel)
  • Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours as needed.


Salary Description

$87,500-$122,500
