Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in application engineering and technical leadership, including managing technical solutions or migrations.
- Experience in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) and cloud-hosted services (e.g., GCP).
- Experience architecting, developing, and implementing end-to-end applications and solutions, and establishing technical direction.
Preferred qualifications:- Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience influencing product strategy and leading/managing technical decisions across a team or organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting and implementing complex integrations between internal systems and external platforms, including SAP, E2open, SaaS applications, and data warehousing solutions.
- Strong technical expertise in applying AI/ML technologies to solve business problems, improving automation, productivity, and customer experience while reducing cost.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, database design, and complex systems integrations.

As an Application Engineer, you will lead projects and provide technical contributions as an individual contributor in the supply chain area. You will find solutions to open-ended problems. You will partner with teams to define and implement solutions that improve business processes. You will serve as a specialist in application development, systems design and integration, software implementation, Full Stack, and web development technologies. You will also engage in community contributions to support our culture and operations.

Responsibilities- Write clear, modular, well-structured, and self-sustaining codes, and develop overall systems design, research, and evaluate vendor supplied applications, and develop recommendations on those applications.
- Build internal solutions, with custom front-end and back-end services with minimal assistance, and identify processes and solutions to ensure controls compliance can be enforced and monitored.
- Help design, build, and deploy internal business applications to support Google's technology lifecycle, collaboration and spaces, service delivery management, and data and business intelligence.
- Conduct and oversee testing of application modules to ensure application meets specifications and collaborate with analysts and business process owners within one or more teams to help translate business requirements into technical solutions.
