Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Architect with the ability to design end-to-end application architectures and develop logical, physical, and reference architecture designs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in solution architecture, process and data flow modeling, architectural governance, and translating business capabilities into scalable technology solutions across multiple lines of business.
Key Responsibilities
• Design end-to-end application architectures aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Develop logical, physical, and reference architecture designs.
• Create process flows, data flow diagrams, solution blueprints, and other architecture documentation.
• Use diagramming tools such as Draw.io, Visio, or similar tools to communicate architectural designs.
• Align application architecture with business capabilities across multiple lines of business.
• Guide development and technical teams through architectural decisions, trade-offs, and solution design.
• Evaluate technology options and recommend appropriate architectural patterns and solutions.
• Apply knowledge of application integration, APIs, identity, security, data, and cloud technologies to develop comprehensive architecture solutions.
Required Qualifications
• Proven ability to design end-to-end application architecture.
• Strong knowledge of logical, physical, and reference architecture design.
• Expertise in creating process flows, data flow diagrams, and solution blueprints.
• Proficiency with diagramming tools such as Draw.io, Visio, or similar.
• Ability to align architecture to business capabilities across multiple lines of business.
• Strong ability to guide teams through architectural decisions and technical trade-offs.
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong SQL, SSIS, and SQL Server expertise.
• Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of Java architecture, API design, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of SSO, SAML, and identity and access management.
• Understanding of AI/ML solution patterns.
• Experience in financial domains, governance, risk, and compliance, finance, accounting, HR, and treasury.
