Acquisition Program Specialist, Senior
Eglin AFB
Niceville, Florida

HX5 is currently seeking a Senior Acquisition Program Specialist to join our team at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide Configuration and CDRL Data Management.
  • Coordinate with program management, systems engineers, and other stake holders in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment to maintain alignment between technical and contractual obligations.
  • Deliver broad reach-back support across functional disciplines for AFPEO/EB portfolio programs.
  • Produce high-volume program products quickly to meet short-notice direction when internal resources are limited.
  • Assist in creating briefings, and staffing materials.
  • Maintain requirements traceability and generate reports/ analyses to update CDDs and CPDs for senior decision makers.
  • Enable rapid, integrated response to MAJCOM changes and inputs.
  • Support government activities in acquisition program management, enterprise integration, developmental planning, and draft contract source selection.
  • Provide advisory support for rapid response/delivery, program communication and reporting, schedule execution, risk management, contract management, and technical data management

Education and Experience:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
  • Associates degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of professional experience
  • Master's degree and seven (7) years of professional experience

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  • This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
  • Must be able to travel as required.
