Management of the scheduling, pre-collections, and financial clearance functions to ensure proper process implementation and quality customer service. Also, provides front-line assistance and acts in a supervisory capacity as needed.
Responsible for providing specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes including, but not limited to: advising physicians on issues concerning drug therapy, the inherent toxicity of drugs and their side effects, as well as assisting in the prescribing of appropriate doses.
Provides patient care, treatment, and services within the scope of their license, certification, registration, and/or assessed competencies. Practice will be in accordance with laws and regulations and will adhere to established policies, procedures and practice guidelines.
Supervises and prioritizes all front office and back office work activities. Evaluates operational effectiveness and monitors delivery of patient services, including reviewing physician activity to ensure efficient patient flow. Modifies activities as necessary to meet the demands of the practice(s).
