What is the role?Roku has re-written the rules of modern advertising, and we are looking for an Account Executive who can partner with agencies and brands to show them how to leverage Connected TV to drive business results. This position supports the Enterprise Agency Sales team and is responsible for growing video and sponsorship revenue on the Roku platform. The Account Executive will build and maintain client and agency relationships, develop media plans, craft sales proposals, and invent custom advertising solutions that propel businesses forward. A background in video advertising, programmatic, and sponsorship sales is essential, along with a clear understanding of how Roku creates value for partners and the ability to develop sales strategies and business plans to drive new revenue streams. This role requires strong organizational skills, comfort with context switching, and a willingness to work independently and resourcefully across multiple priorities.

For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $95,000 - $115,000 annually.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What are the responsibilities of the role?- Achieve advertising revenue goals by identifying and closing strategic opportunities
- Research, develop, and pitch media plans to top advertising partners across Enterprise accounts
- Present the Roku product suite and sell strategic advertising opportunities
- Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of sales targets, contacts, and opportunities through existing connections and brand and agency relationships
- Provide campaign management, optimization, reporting, recaps, and identify upsell opportunities
- Respond to RFPs, collaborate with editorial on sponsorable custom content solutions, and support research in the development of case studies
- Build reliable and accurate revenue projections and forecasts
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to service clients, build proposals, and partner on strategies
What experience would help someone be successful in this role at Roku?- 5+ years of experience managing a book of business as an Account Executive in advertising sales
- Demonstrated track record of closing large, complex, and custom advertising partnerships with Fortune 500 clients and key stakeholders at their agencies - Omnicom Experience preferred
- Understanding of the TV, digital, programmatic, and ad tech ecosystem
- Experience with video advertising, programmatic, and sponsorship sales
- Ability to develop sales strategies, relationship maps, and business plans to drive revenue
- Strong presentation, communication, and media planning skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work from the New York office four days per week
