Job SummaryA key member of the Workplace Technology team, the Workplace Technologies Specialist Operations will be responsible for the Implementation and Support of Enterprise Technologies, Hardware, and Plant IT Support. This role will provide onsite support at Residential and Commercial Plants. The Workplace Technology team is dynamic, constantly evolving, and innovative. The Workplace Technologies Specialist Operations must possess the skills to multitask Support and Projects in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties- Laptop / PC Replacements - Properly migrate, procure, and ship back old devices.
- Google Workplace Support (GMail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Google Drive)
- Assist with local Plant support as well as other Plants and HQ remote support
- Tablet Provisioning and Support
- Assist with Local Plant Network Support
- Printer Support & Troubleshooting
- Google Meet and AV Equipment Support
- Monitor, log and track assigned technical problems in our Ticket Management system (Service Now)
- Support IOT & WMS Android Tablets
- Support Digital Display Boards
- Collaborate with other Plant and Corporate IT Staff
- Document procedures, standards, and best practices
- We need a Workplace Technologies Specialist that can perform the above tasks as well as possess the ability to quickly dive into critical issues and perform Root Cause Analysis. You should be confident in your capacity to provide support and communicate to GAF leadership.
Qualifications Required- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 5+ Years of supporting Windows Operating Systems in an Enterprise or Manufacturing Environment
- Proven Ability to Multitask
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Understanding of Mobile Technology (iPhones, Androids, iPads, and Tablets)
- Understanding of Plant Network Topology w/ Wireless Troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Google Workspace (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Service Now a Plus
- ITIL Foundation a Plus
Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.
Base Salary Range: $68,000-$93,500
