THE ROLE

Lead the evolution of our global People Technology ecosystem as the Senior Product Owner for Workday Payroll. In this high-impact role, you will own the strategic roadmap, configuration, and continuous optimization of Workday Payroll to deliver seamless, highly reliable payroll operations. Partnering closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT leaders, you will turn complex statutory obligations and business requirements into scalable, automated solutions. WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Drive Strategic Roadmap & Continuous Improvement: Architect and execute the Workday Payroll roadmap, implementing scalable business processes, advanced calculation logic, and automated workflows that maximize payroll accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Lead End-to-End Enterprise Solutioning: Design, configure, test, and deploy robust Workday Payroll functionality-including earnings, deductions, taxes, and integrations with Core HCM, Time Tracking, and Benefits-ensuring seamless global payroll cycles.
  • Enable Cross-Functional Impact & Compliance: Collaborate directly with HR, Finance, Accounting, and regional Payroll teams to align system configurations with evolving statutory regulations, internal controls, and SOX compliance standards.
  • Optimize System Health & Feature Adoption: Evaluate bi-annual Workday releases, resolve complex calculation and retroactivity edge cases, and build insightful operational dashboards that empower data-driven decision-making.


WHAT YOU BRING
  • Workday Payroll & Configuration Mastery: Demonstrated skill in hands-on configuration of Workday Payroll, including complex calculation rules, retroactivity, payroll inputs, and deep integration across Core HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, and Security.
  • Cross-Functional & Global Partnership: Proven capacity to lead complex enterprise technology initiatives, partnering seamlessly across HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to translate statutory policy into scalable technical architecture.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving & Governance: Strong understanding of payroll audit controls, statutory compliance, and data governance, paired with an analytical mindset to diagnose edge cases and automate business workflows.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the {{OFFICE_LOCATION}} office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is:

$138,000-$207,000 USD
