Summary

The Product Owner, Autonomous Chemistry Control owns the digital strategy, operating model, and value realization for autonomous, AI-directed chemistry control across the portfolio. You will ensure that data products and data science investments move beyond models and dashboards into trusted, scalable capabilities that drive measurable improvement in cost, quality, throughput, and sustainability outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • You will partner with data science, engineering, product, and commercial teams to identify the highest-value optimization opportunities, frame the right business questions, and lead the enablement of capabilities that improve:
    • Chemistry optimization and reduced overspend in high-cost, high-variability applications
    • Process stability, target adherence, and reduced variation,
    • Throughput, yield, and sustainability outcomes.
    • Cross-vertical scale and reuse of proven autonomous-control use cases.
  • Accountable for ensuring autonomous chemistry control delivers measurable value through:
    • A prioritized portfolio of transformational data use cases tied to defensible value cases
    • Decision-ready value narratives that translate data science outcomes into action leaders and customers can trust.
    • Scalable productization and governance that extend proven optimization across verticals with consistency and trust.
  • Quantifiable value from autonomous-control use cases-reduced chemistry usage, lower variation, and improved target adherence translated into cost and sustainability gains.
  • Increased executive, commercial, and customer adoption of autonomous control; faster, clearer decisions; reduced conflicting value claims through governance and real-time value realization.


Qualifications
  • 15+ years in a global corporate setting, with 10+ years as a data science product owner / data product leader in industrial, process, manufacturing, chemicals, energy, or comparable asset-intensive industries.
  • Experience with connected services product strategy and a focus on continuous customer engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated trajectory owning AI/ML-driven product strategy and value realization.
  • Certifications in leading data/AI or cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure/MS Fabric) and/or product ownership (CSPO, SAFe) are highly valued.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, engineering, data science, or chemical/process discipline; advanced degree or MBA preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $107,500.00 and $157,663.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
