What You Will DoThis is an opportunity for an experienced leader to join the Women's Services team at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin. You will provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for our OB/GYN Advanced Practice Providers, fostering a culture of collaborative care and clinical excellence.
- Lead and support a dedicated team of OB/GYN APPs at multiple sites.
- Drive clinical quality and operational workflows in partnership with physician leadership.
- Promote a patient-centered care environment aligned with our mission.
- Foster professional development and team engagement.
- Eligible for state medical licensure and credentialing.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- One or more of the following:
- Midwife credentialed from the Texas Midwifery Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. In states where it applies RN license must be held concurrent to Advanced Practice license.
- Nurse Anesthetist credentialed from the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
transfer date. - Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Physician Assistant Board obtained prior to hire
date or job transfer date.
- Preferred Credential(s):
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Education:
- Education appropriate for licensure held: Master's degree of Nursing, Master's or Doctorate of Nursing Anesthesia Practice, Doctorate of Science in Nursing, Master's or Doctorate of Science in Nursing Midwifery, Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program required.
Work Experience:
- 5 years of experience required.
- 10 years of experience preferred.
- 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
