  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of negotiators and leaders responsible for manufacturer engagement, contract strategy, financial outcomes, and execution across a growing portfolio, while building organizational capabilities, succession pipelines, and future leadership talent.
  • Deliver against enterprise financial objectives through accountability for pharmaceutical spend, COGS performance, manufacturer funding, and long-term value creation while protecting enterprise value through disciplined contract strategy, financial rigor, and risk management.

  • Build executive sponsorship and alignment with internal stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps, resolve complex issues, and advance go-to-market execution across pharmacy and health care delivery assets.
  • Exercise executive influence internally and externally to align stakeholders, advance strategic priorities, and support enterprise decision-making.
  • Lead and scale a growing organization with expanding scope, increasing strategic importance, and evolving enterprise priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturer contracting, drug spend, procurement, pricing, formulary management, retail pharmacy economics, and market access dynamics.
  • Experience with vaccine procurement, commercialization, or manufacturer engagement preferred.
  • Proven success leading complex, high-value manufacturer negotiations with accountability for COGS, commercial terms, financial outcomes, and contractual risk protection.
  • Strategic, commercially oriented executive with strong internal and external influence.
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive-level relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and senior internal stakeholders while aligning diverse interests to advance strategic priorities and enterprise outcomes.
  • Experience translating complex commercial, financial, legal, operational, and market dynamics into clear executive-level recommendations.
  • Progressive leadership experience leading multi-level organizations, developing talent, scaling organizational capabilities, and managing teams of negotiators.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop executive-level business presentations and facilitate senior leadership discussions.
  • Deep financial acumen with the ability to translate contract strategy into measurable enterprise financial impact.
  • Strategic vision, critical thinking, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across pharmacy, MinuteClinic, health care delivery, finance, legal, operations, analytics, and commercial teams to remove roadblocks and drive execution across multiple strategic workstreams.
