Join Macquarie Asset Management's first-line Risk team as a Vice President supporting our Alternatives-to-Wealth (A2W), Wealth Solutions, and Investment Solutions businesses. In this role, you'll help drive and enhance risk management practices across a growing global platform while partnering with senior stakeholders on strategic initiatives, transactions, and new product development. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, continuous improvement, and commercial decision-making within a strong risk framework.

As a member of the MAM Risk team, you will support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of risk management frameworks across the A2W, Wealth Solutions, and Investment Solutions businesses. Partnering closely with investment, asset management, and functional teams across the Americas and EMEA, you will provide risk advice on transactions, new products, and strategic initiatives to ensure risks are appropriately identified, assessed, and managed.

You will oversee key operational risk activities, including incident management, third-party risk programs, control assessments, and governance processes. The role also involves preparing risk insights and reporting for senior management, boards, and investors, while helping strengthen the overall control environment and supporting a culture of continuous improvement and effective risk management.

Salary range for this position: $164,000 - $200,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. Full benefits details are listed below.

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in operational risk, internal or external audit, risk management, or operations ideally within asset management or financial services
  • Experience across alternative investments, ideally within wealth products; knowledge of relevant US regulations is an advantage
  • Familiarity with SOX programs and third-party/external-tester oversight, with the ability to synthesize progress into clear, Board- and senior-management-ready updates
  • Strong knowledge of non-financial risk frameworks, internal controls, and business control environments
  • Proven ability to assess risk in transactions, projects, and business activities, and to design and enhance control frameworks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong written and verbal communication and the confidence to challenge, influence, and build relationships across teams
