Full Job Description
The Role:

OneMain Financial is seeking an experienced VP/Director of Compensation. As a direct report to the Head of Total Rewards, this role will help to drive the OneMain Financial Equity and Deferred Compensation strategy and design, Executive Compensation strategy (including directly supporting our Compensation Committee), and additionally taking on a newly created remit of cross-HR Compliance lead.

Job Responsibilities

Compliance Lead for HR
• Work with Legal and Compliance on any and all matters related to HR laws and policies (e.g., wage transparency, 409a, FLSA, state mandated reporting, SOX, EEOC, ADA)Equity/Deferred Compensation Strategy
• Design and administration oversight of deferred compensation and equity plans in partnership with 3rd party vendors (e.g. Fidelity, Morgan Stanley, Aon)

Executive Compensation
• Compensation Committee materials / CD&A / Annual Proxy fillings

Compensation Governance
• Create and maintain governance documents related to compensation (e.g., Buyouts/Replacement awards, published compensation policy documents, approvals, best practices, etc.)

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree Finance, Human Resources or business-related field
• 10 + years' compensation experience especially in the executive compensation space
• Experience managing compensation committee materials and/or proxy fillings
• Knowledge of legal requirements related to Human Resources including federal and state laws
• Experience with compensation and/or human resources regulatory topics (e.g., wage transparency, 409a, FLSA, state mandated reporting, SOX, EEOC,ADA)
• Must have MS Excel analytical skills/experience (e.g., scenario modeling, statistical analysis)
• Ability to anticipate challenges, diagnose problems, prescribe actions, and promote resolutions that have a direct impact on business strategy
