Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop database processes and logic using T-SQL.
• Write and maintain stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions to support application and reporting needs.
• Optimize queries and indexes for performance in SQL Server environments.
• Implement and manage SQL Server Enterprise features such as partitioning, compression, and in-memory tables.
• Create, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Server Agent jobs and scheduled processes.
• Use Extended Events and diagnostic tools to analyze and improve performance.
• Support reporting workflows integrated with Telerik and other tools.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business teams to align database solutions with system and business requirements.
What Sets You Apart
• 3-5+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Strong understanding of database process design and business logic implementation.
• Proficiency in query optimization, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis.
• Experience managing SQL Server Agent jobs and troubleshooting database processes.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Extended Events.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams.
• Interest in craftsmanship and continuous improvement in database engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with CLR integration and advanced SQL Server features.
• Familiarity with Telerik or similar reporting tools.
• Experience in Auto Finance, Consumer Finance, Banking, or Accounting Technology environments.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across technical and business domains.
