We are seeking a
VP & Chief of Staff to SVP, GM Americas Reporting directly to the SVP, GM Americas, this role requires periodic travel throughout the Americas, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. This position may be performed remotely from a home office in the United States, with a preference for candidates located in the Central or Eastern time zone.

The
Chief of Staff will assist the
SVP, GM, Americas in leading Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Service Delivery and other functions. The Chief of Staff will coordinate theater activities, build cross functional initiatives that remove friction, and improve communications while uniting the teams to drive growth and achieve assigned targets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assist the Theater GM in carrying out Sales Leadership across the Americas Theater overseeing field operations, meeting financial and business goals
- Drive coordination across all functions within the Theatre, both those that directly report into the GM and functions that report to Global functional leaders including Field Marketing, Service Delivery, Global On-Boarding, Legal, Finance and HR
- Contribute to the development and execution of plans to meet quarterly and annual goals for sales, revenue, client retention, client satisfaction, including costs and profit
- Support GM in Sales leadership to execute against a plan to exceed quota targets every quarter, for both New business and Renewals
- Assist North America Sales leaders in preparing and providing accurate weekly sales forecasts and pipeline summaries
- Support NA leadership to recruit, retain and grow top performing teams in sales (business development, field sales, and account management), including sales management at the VP and Director levels
- Support GM with Alliance and Partnership activities with the goals of building pipeline opportunities and driving new business
Organize for efficient use of time
- Organize staff meetings, weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews
- Create agendas, create templates, prep presenters, review presentations for content and clarity
- Prepare executive communications and presentation materials for C-level meetings
- Help execute operating cadence - weekly, quarterly and annual cycle
- Participate in annual planning, with interlock across Sales, Products, Finance and Marketing
Drive projects and initiatives
- Assist with projects that need added focus, supplement bandwidth of specific groups or functions as needed
- Drive initiatives that cut across geographies, functions and teams
- Work off-line to overcome hurdles and objections, maintain momentum and execution of top priorities
- Coordinate special projects - partnerships, investments, legal matters
Provide analysis and insights, framing and guidance on key issues
- Provide data, metrics and analysis on operations under the North America Theater GM
- Add insights to analytics to frame business and operational issues for executive decision
- Be a trusted resource and sounding board for the Theater GM, to discuss issues, test ideas, and explore options
- Conduct annual analysis of global field operations to inform strategic direction and investment choices
Experience- A successful track record in a similar role as Chief of Staff or head of Business Operations for a senior executive in companies with at least $300 million in annual revenue
- Experience leading Business Operations or Sales Operations teams in Enterprise software companies
- Experience in staff roles for C-level leaders of customer-facing functions (Sales, Marketing, Account Management)
- Prefer experience in high-growth software or software-related services businesses.
- Direct experience in line jobs across multiple functions and disciplines, especially Sales, Marketing and Finance
- Direct experience in customer-facing roles in Sales organizations, post-sales Account Management, Marketing or Service Delivery
- Experience with both new business/new customer acquisition and recurring revenue streams/renewals
- Proven track record of driving strong business success, sales and client satisfaction results against target plans
- Participation in management teams overseeing global activities
- Experience with and understanding of business financials and P&Ls
- Participation in annual planning cycles and budget processes
- Experience with market and financial analysis to frame and recommend investment decisions
- Experience with organizational transformations and change management

EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent required, Masters or MBA desirable
