The Senior Accountant assists in the preparation of monthly financial reports, assists with annual and quarterly financial and tax audits and ensures that accounting entries are made in accordance with company policy and GAAP.
The incumbent must have a working knowledge of Project Management & Administration, Marine or Commercial Concrete Construction Materials, Procurement, Estimating, Scheduling, Project Tracking Software, Cost Control, Engineering & Project Standards, and Safety & Environmental Compliance.
Works with the Dredge Superintendent to ensure that the assigned dredge operates safely and efficiently, receives proper maintenance, has adequately staffing of trained personnel, and is meeting project completion goals and objectives.
This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Executive VP & General Counsel & CAO in the performance of his duties as legal counsel to the Company and its subsidiaries. In addition, Counsel provides legal counsel and guidance to Company management and division management in all areas of Company operations.
