What You'll Do
- Own Executive Engagement: Build trusted, unstoppable relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers at the world's largest restaurant brands. You'll dive deep into their core business challenges to align Uber's ad solutions with their growth priorities.
- Navigate Complex Ecosystems: Masterfully navigate both client and agency organizations, unlocking doors and building bridges straight to the video buying teams.
- Drive Video Leadership: Champion the video advertising strategy for the Restaurants vertical. You will lead account teams to activate these strategies, relentlessly driving growth across Uber's video and programmatic video placements.
- Deliver Data-Driven Insights: Prove Uber's unique value by tracking campaign results against high-stakes customer goals (like ROAS, store visits, and basket size). You'll turn complex data into compelling stories that shape customer strategies and deepen partnerships.
- Fuel the Pipeline: Own the growth trajectory of your portfolio. By leveraging marketplace insights, you'll identify, cultivate, and close a pipeline of new opportunities to expand Uber's footprint.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing.
- Proven track record working directly with advertisers, top-tier agencies, or major enterprise clients.
- Domain Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience in video sales and digital media strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vertical Knowledge: Deep experience selling video solutions to major Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or Casual Dining brands, with a sharp eye for managing brand safety and frequency.
- Executive Presence: A proven knack for navigating complex stakeholder environments and influencing C-suite executives.
- Media Fluency: Advanced knowledge of the video media landscape, including upfront agreements, media planning, campaign management, and advanced measurement (e.g., Marketing Mix Modeling, sales lift, and conversion lift).
- Platform Savvy: Familiarity with Uber Ad Solutions (or comparable retail media networks) and cutting-edge video tech, including AI-powered performance video and Connected TV (CTV).
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$134,000 per year - USD$149,500 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$166,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, sales bonuses & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office.
