Job Description
This is a high-impact executive leadership role at the center of one of Sage's most strategic growth priorities: scaling the Sage Intacct Advisory (SIA) partner ecosystem across the U.S.

The Vice President will lead the strategy, execution, and overall business performance of a rapidly growing partner organization focused on accounting firms, BPOs, managed service providers, and advisory partners. This market represents a multi-billion-dollar opportunity and plays a critical role in Sage's long-term growth strategy.

This role requires a proven executive with deep enterprise sales leadership experience, expertise managing complex partner ecosystems and sophisticated sales motions, and a strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams. The position owns the full partner lifecycle-from recruitment and activation to revenue growth, retention, and long-term partner success.

The Vice President will lead a team of SIA Sales Directors and Sales Managers responsible for driving partner-led customer acquisition, expansion, and market growth.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
• Define and execute the long-term Sage Intacct Advisory partner strategy aligned with Sage's corporate growth objectives.
• Develop and lead multi-year growth plans to expand market share, increase partner-sourced revenue, and drive customer acquisition.
• Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, competitive trends, and industry shifts.
• Create scalable go-to-market strategies that accelerate partner productivity and market penetration across key segments and verticals.

Enterprise Sales & Revenue Leadership
• Own end-to-end partner business performance, including new customer acquisition, expansion revenue, renewals, retention, and overall revenue growth.
• Lead complex enterprise sales motions across large partner organizations and strategic customer opportunities.
• Drive disciplined pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, operational rigor, and revenue predictability.
• Partner closely with direct sales, marketing, services, and product teams to maximize growth and customer outcomes.

Partner Ecosystem Leadership
• Lead strategic business planning and execution with Sage Intacct Advisory partners.
• Drive partner performance through data-driven insights, investment prioritization, and performance management.
• Develop programs and initiatives aligned with industry, product, customer segment, and market priorities.
• Expand the scale, reach, and effectiveness of the SIA partner ecosystem.

Executive Partner Engagement
• Serve as executive sponsor for Sage's most strategic partner relationships.
• Build trusted executive-level relationships with partner leadership teams.
• Advise partners on growth strategy, service offerings, organizational design, pricing models, customer acquisition, and sales execution.
• Lead negotiations and resolution of complex business issues, escalations, and strategic initiatives.

Organizational Leadership & Talent Development
• Lead and develop a high-performing organization of SIA Sales Directors, Sales Managers, and partner-facing professionals.
• Establish a culture of accountability, execution excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive talent development, succession planning, coaching, and leadership capability building.
• Set clear performance expectations and operational standards while developing future leaders.

Financial & Operational Management
• Own partner sales planning, budgeting, investment decisions, and operating performance.
• Drive efficient allocation of resources to maximize growth and return on investment.
• Establish performance metrics, operating rhythms, and business review processes to ensure execution excellence.

Cross-Functional Executive Leadership
• Act as the executive integration point across Sales, Marketing, Product, Services, Finance, Operations, and Customer Success.
• Influence product, program, and enablement strategies based on partner and customer feedback
• Champion partner needs across Sage to drive alignment and business outcomes.

Partner Success & Escalation Management
• Lead resolution of complex partner and customer issues.
• Ensure strong partner health, customer satisfaction, implementation quality, and business outcomes.
• Maintain senior executive engagement in strategic risk management and partner performance.

Qualifications
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in partner, channel, enterprise sales, or indirect go-to-market organizations within SaaS, ERP, financial management, or business applications.
• Proven executive leadership experience managing large-scale partner ecosystems and complex enterprise sales motions.
• Demonstrated success leading high-performing, quota-carrying sales organizations and delivering consistent revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of VAR, SI, CPA, advisory, managed services, and partner-led business models.
• Experience managing complex organizational stakeholder environments and influencing executive-level decision makers.
• Strong expertise in partner lifecycle management, strategic planning, GTM execution, and revenue operations.
• Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Strong financial, operational, and analytical acumen.
• Bachelor's degree required; CPA, MBA, or related financial/business background preferred.

Travel
