About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer, the Vice President, Business Development will lead SE Health's enterprise growth agenda. This executive role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, revenue diversification, strategic partnerships, market expansion, and the commercialization of organizational capabilities across public, private, and community sectors.

The successful candidate will establish and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that strengthens SE Health's market position, expands strategic partnerships, identifies new growth opportunities, and advances long-term organizational sustainability. Working closely with executive leaders across the organization, this individual will help build the capabilities, governance, and disciplines required to support future growth and innovation.

What You'll Do

Drive Enterprise Growth
  • Lead the development and execution of SE Health's growth and revenue diversification strategy.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, customer segments, funding models, and strategic investments.
  • Develop initiatives that strengthen organizational sustainability and support long-term growth objectives.


Advance Strategic Partnerships
  • Build and maintain senior executive relationships with strategic partners, funders, clients, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead partnership development, negotiations, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Represent SE Health in external business and industry forums that enhance organizational influence and visibility.


Accelerate Commercialization & Revenue Growth
  • Build and manage a healthy, qualified business development pipeline.
  • Lead the commercialization of services, programs, and organizational capabilities.
  • Drive conversion of opportunities into sustainable partnerships, contracts, and measurable revenue outcomes.


Lead Performance & Growth Governance
  • Establish business development operating models, performance measures, governance frameworks, and growth forecasting processes.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations related to growth opportunities and organizational priorities.


Inspire Leadership & Capability Building
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams focused on business development, strategic partnerships, market expansion, and commercialization.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and growth.
  • Contribute as a key member of the executive leadership team, influencing enterprise strategy and organizational priorities.


What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Strategy, or a related field.
  • MBA or Master's degree in a related discipline considered an asset.
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in business development, growth strategy, commercialization, strategic partnerships, digital health, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise growth initiatives and revenue diversification strategies.
  • Experience identifying and advancing strategic partnerships and new market opportunities.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience evaluating growth investments and business opportunities.
  • Track record of commercializing services, solutions, or organizational capabilities into scalable growth opportunities.
  • Experience building executive-level relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Proven success building high-performing teams and leading through change and complexity.
