This key role within the IT department is responsible for nurturing and optimizing relationships with the technology vendors vital to operations. This individual will oversee the complete lifecycle of these partnerships, ensuring alignment with the IT strategy, adherence to stringent security and compliance requirements (including NIST), and the delivery of maximum value. As a part of the Vendor Management Office, the Vendor Manager will leverage understanding of IT infrastructure, development processes, cloud services, and IT service management (ITIL) to enhance the IT ecosystem from within.
Note: This is a hybrid position in Seattle, WA.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration with an IT focus, or a related technical field.
A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in IT vendor management, demonstrating increasing responsibility and leadership in managing complex application and infrastructure projects. This experience should include a strong understanding of vendor lifecycle management.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience developing and executing vendor management programs and strategies, including vendor risk management, performance management, and relationship management.
Demonstrable in-depth knowledge and practical application of vendor management best practices and methodologies, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and relationship management.

Compensation Range
$129,992.00 - $194,988.00 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
