Full Job Description
Position Summary...
As a part of Walmart's Inventory Product Team, you'll be the voice of our customer.

You'll be responsible for Compass, an internal tool that is responsible for bringing navigation experiences within the four walls of a Walmart store. Day to day you'll drive improvements to the navigation experience, helping Associates and Customers find items more easily.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing a map experience roadmap that achieves company objectives and key results by working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, design, and marketing to define new data models and new experiences that deliver best-in-class personalization in eCommerce.

What you'll do...

  • Develop and execute our strategy and roadmap that aligns with our OKRs and drive Customer and Associate value.


  • Drive a data-informed approach to personalization by working closely with data scientists and analytics to identify key metrics.


  • Continuously test and optimize recommendation models to improve engagement, conversion rates, and satisfaction, using A/B testing, DiD testing, etc.


  • Leverage data insights to inform product decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, analytics, and engineering, to develop product initiatives that enhance the customer experience and drive business growth.


  • Evaluate business cases and translate business and customer requirements into product roadmaps, machine learning models, engineering specifications, and underlying system dependencies.


  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and performance to stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, and ensure alignment on product priorities and goals.


  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to personalization and item recommendations and ensure our product strategy remains competitive.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
