What you'll do
  • Own your product area, end-to-end. Get clear on the problem, write requirements people actually understand, and rally the team to ship.
  • Build the roadmap around what's true, not what's loudest. Use data, client feedback, and market signals to decide what matters.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design. Great products come from great collaboration. Push for simple, intuitive experiences that clients love using.
  • Let the numbers tell you if it worked. Track the right metrics, talk to real users, and keep iterating until the outcome is right.
  • Say the hard thing clearly. Bring people along, make the tradeoffs visible, and help the team make good calls fast.

Skills you bring
  • Years of shipping products people actually love - across both customer-facing and platform work. You've owned a product (or a big chunk of one) and know how to lead complex, cross-functional projects without losing momentum.
  • A bias to ship. We don't do endless debate. The fastest way to know if something works is to put it in front of clients - so we ship, learn, and iterate.
  • Enough technical fluency to keep up with engineers - you can talk architecture and tradeoffs, and you're hungry to learn what you don't know yet so you can make better calls.
  • A real belief in financial inclusion - you want to build things that give more people access to financial freedom, not fewer.

Who you are
  • A systems thinker. You can take a messy pile of use cases and distill them into one simple, elegant solution.
  • A strong technical partner. You work hand-in-hand with engineering to turn a logical design into a real technical architecture.
  • Comfortable in the grey. You can take raw, messy data (qualitative or quantitative) and pull out the actual problem, the real insight, the requirement that matters.
  • A rigorous thinker. You don't skip steps. You work through problems systematically, and you know the difference between a good answer and a fast one.
  • Scrappy, and happy to wear different hats. Sometimes that means building a business case. Sometimes it's mapping a workflow. Sometimes it's sitting across the table from a vendor or regulator and negotiating the details.
  • A clear communicator. You can take something complicated and make it simple, without losing what matters.
  • A collaborative, empathetic leader. You know how to work with a wide range of stakeholders and make sure everyone's voice actually gets heard.
