Requirement: US Courts - PSB Facility Hardening Program ManagerJob Description: Forge is seeking a full-time Project Specialist assigned to the Physical Security Branch (PSB) of the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AOUSC) - to support the courthouse hardening program by assisting with oversight and day-to-day management and coordinating with internal and external partners. This position is contingent on award of contract and grant of funding.
Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):
- Assess and assist with developing a tracking mechanism designed to monitor both internal and external requests for actions related to the PSB hardening mission.
- Coordinate requests for actions related to the PSB mission with both internal and external stakeholders, FSO staff, and extended security partners to resolve issues and develop products to minimize security risk.
- Assist with the collection, analysis, and development of identified metrics (performance/effectiveness) to help shape analytical data outputs.
- Provide programmatic support to assist with the day-to-day oversight and management of the Judiciary's National Courthouse Hardening program.
- Assist with the development and implementation of a methodology for delivering daily, weekly, and monthly reports and meeting minutes, as required.
- Maintain project files and updates tracking tools to monitor the progress and status of hardening projects, tasks, and related activities.
- Review GSA cost estimates and review A/E drawings to identify hardening requirements are incorporated into designs and ability to identify potential issues that may arise.
- Coordinate meetings with the General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Protective Services (FPS), United States Marshals Service (USMS), and the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO) staff, as required.
- Assist with oversight of program budgets (reviewing project obligations, expenses, available funds, etc.)
- Prepare and provide correspondence, reports or other documentation information or briefs in the form of PowerPoints, Microsoft Excel reports and/or meeting minutes and executive briefs suitable for various levels of management within FSO.
- Supports the monitoring and coordination of courthouse hardening projects with the General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Protective Service (FPS), and United States Marshals Service (USMS).
- Participates in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to discuss hardening projects, address project-related concerns, and assist in resolving issues. Prepare meeting notes or summaries to document key points and decisions.
- Support the PSB Branch Chief as needed or otherwise directed.

Minimum Qualifications: - US Citizen
- Bachelor's Degree in the field or in a related area.
- Five (5) or more years of professional experience in Facilities Security Management
- Strong knowledge and experience in Facility Hardening strategies and reviewing A/E designs and cost estimates to ensure alignment with security planning.
- Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with A/E programs necessary for review and assessment of facility plans
- Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Competency in working autonomously. On-site Work Requirement:
- Work onsite at the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building in Washington, DC (final schedule to be determined (TBD), but most likely 3 or 4 days working on site and 1 or 2 days teleworking)
Highly Desired Qualifications: - Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting security-related programs with General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Protective Services (FPS), United States Marshals Service (USMS), the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AO), and/or the Department of Justice (DOJ).
- Expert familiarity with FPS security protocols and doctrine.
