Job Title: Treasury Director
Locations: Boston, MA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Reports to: VP, Treasury & Corporate Finance
A quick snapshot...The Treasury Director will lead day-to-day treasury operations - cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and bank relationship management - while also serving as the company's subject-matter expert on debt and covenant compliance. This role requires a rare blend of treasury fluency and accounting rigor: comfort building a 13-week cash flow model in the morning and reconciling a debt amortization schedule to the general ledger in the afternoon. You will be the primary point of contact for lenders on compliance reporting and will partner closely with Accounting and FP&A within the CFO's organization.
Why it's a big deal...This isn't a traditional treasury seat. We're looking for someone who can own the full cash and debt picture end-to-end - the treasury execution (cash positioning, bank relationships, liquidity) and the accounting judgment behind it (debt instrument accounting, covenant math, disclosure support). Most treasury teams hand covenant compliance and debt accounting off to corporate accounting; here, one person owns both, which means faster answers for the CFO, fewer handoffs, and a much clearer line of sight from the credit agreement straight to the balance sheet.
Here's what we're looking for...- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 10+ years of combined experience in treasury and accounting, including direct exposure to debt accounting and covenant compliance.
- GAAP & Credit Agreement Fluency: Working knowledge of GAAP as it applies to debt instruments and financing transactions (ASC 470 and related guidance), alongside proven experience reading, interpreting, and operationalizing complex credit agreements.
- Cash Management & Modeling: Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with hands-on experience building rolling 13-week short- and long-term cash forecasts from scratch across multiple entities and currencies.
- Debt Portfolio & Covenant Ownership: Demonstrated capability calculating financial covenants each reporting period, preparing compliance certificates, managing lender deadlines, and proactively monitoring covenant headroom for executive leadership.
- Banking & Risk Management: Proven track record serving as a primary point of contact for banking partners and lenders on day-to-day operations, intercompany funding, liquidity, and FX/interest rate risk monitoring.
- Executive Communication: Strong communication skills with the confidence and clarity to present covenant results, cash positions, and variance analyses directly to the CFO and executive leadership.
Here's what will give you an edge...- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Hands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS), ERP implementations, or financial reporting tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Workday).
- Exposure to interest rate swaps, FX hedging strategies, and ASC 815 accounting.

Listed below is the U.S. base salary range for this full-time position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance.
The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description. We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements. In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.

$174,150-$278,640 USD
