Responsibilities- Execute short-term investments (to ensure surplus cash is minimized and maximum funds are invested to achieve departmental and company financial goals.
- Provide weekly Operating Forecast and Long-Range Plan data to the Treasurer and senior BSU management.
- Weekly liquidity update of cash, certain financial metrics and investments including the relevant analytics.
- Assist the Treasury Operations manager in reporting and monitoring commodity derivative exposure including coordination of confirms and trade reconciliations.
- Perform all functions of the Treasury Specialist in addition to those included here. Responsibilities include reconciling bank balances, forecasting cash available for investment, and entering trade and wire information into internet-based banking systems.
- Provide various treasury reporting support using Kyriba/Geneva and other Treasury systems such as debt issuances, interest payments, retirements and refunding initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Treasury Management System (Kyriba), Geneva, SAP, internet banking systems, strong communication skills, ability to multitask, effective problem-solving skills.

- Basic ability to analyze data and draw conclusions, recognize trends, and recommend action.
- Demonstrate the ability to initiate and implement improvements to Treasury procedures.
- High degree of flexibility to provide daily support in the absence of the Treasury Specialist.
Education, Experience and Certifications- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Treasury, Finance or Business experience is preferred.
- Experience with utility or government sector is preferred.

The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
