  • Oversee the construction and installation of large-scale commercial solar projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure quality control, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, crew members, and suppliers to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct safety meetings and enforce strict safety protocols to ensure a zero-incident job site.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to problem-solve and optimize site operations.
  • Maintain daily reports, track progress, and communicate updates with leadership.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
  • 3+ years of experience in solar, electrical, or commercial construction supervision.
  • 3+ years of people leadership in commercial construction.
  • Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback to enable growth and development
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, racking, foundations, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and drive projects to completion.
  • OSHA 30 certification or higher.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Willingness to travel to anywhere in the United States to project sites as needed.

The pay range for this position is $92,520 - $152,200 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
