ResponsibilitiesAs a Contract Manager, your primary responsibility will be serving as the key liaison between F.A. Wilhelm, our clients, and project teams while overseeing contract administration, project execution, and operational alignment. You will lead client relationships, coordinate project activities, and ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual commitments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Oversee contract administration, including scope management, change orders, invoicing, and contract compliance.
- Coordinate and manage multiple construction, maintenance, and capital improvement projects simultaneously.
- Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution activities.
- Identify project risks, develop solutions, and proactively address issues that could impact cost, schedule, safety, or quality.
- Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, Estimating, Safety, and Field Leadership teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all assigned projects and client accounts.

What it takes- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction management, project management, contract management, or related leadership roles.
- Experience managing client relationships and construction contracts within commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, or similar environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading project teams, subcontractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of construction project delivery, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software platforms.
