Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse Internal Traveler to work on a Intermediate Care unit for their Oncology Stepdown unit for a Temporary Full Time, 14-week assignment!

Department/Position Overview: This unit cares for patients with cancer in an inpatient, 36 bed Intermediate Care Unit. We are hiring compassionate RNs to monitor physical conditions, prescribe medication, and administer chemotherapy and other treatments. The care that we deliver is dynamic! Our care includes but is not limited to:
  • Chemotherapy
  • Hospice
  • Radiation
  • Stem Cell Transplants / CAR-T
  • Radioactive Iodine
  • Symptom Management

Education
  • Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required


Certification/Licensure
