Responsibilities

  • Serve in the Richmond, VA area, providing care to underserved populations

We are seeking a compassionate and flexible Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about serving the Richmond, VA community. Our team provides essential primary care services through a network of community clinics and mobile health units, caring for uninsured and Medicaid populations. Position Highlights:
  • Location: 5116 Richmond Henrico Turnpike, Richmond VA 23227 and surrounding area (within 1 hour)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday plus 1 Saturdays per month.
  • Provide primary care services to children and adults through both the clinic and Mobile Care RV, bringing healthcare directly to underserved communities throughout the Richmond region and surrounding areas within a one-hour radius.
  • Partner with City Schools providing sports physicals, immunizations, health screenings, community events, etc.
  • Shared call schedule, with RN first call
  • Co-manage patients with a diverse care team to include, but not limited to, RN, Counselors, Care Management, and other team members to improve our patients' health holistically.
  • Review quality and outcome metrics monthly with the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with local civic and faith-based leaders on community education programs
  • Experience working in a FQHC or Community Health Center, or post-masters training in Community Health Care would be of great benefit to the practice
  • 1+ year APP experience required
  • The ability to speak Spanish is extremely helpful in this role, but not required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $100,900.80 - $312,000.00 annually.Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
