Join J.P. Morgan's Americas Distribution team and play a pivotal role in connecting global investors and financial institutions to Trade Finance opportunities, driving transaction execution, portfolio optimization, and the continued growth of our Trade & Working Capital franchise.

As an Associate on the Americas Distribution team within Trade and Working Capital (TWC), you will support the distribution and execution of Trade Finance transactions across the Americas. You will be responsible for managing relationships with banks, brokers, insurers, multilateral development banks, and other institutional investors active in the secondary Trade Finance market. In addition, you will work closely with Trade Sales and other internal partners to support transaction pricing, structuring, and distribution strategies. The Americas Distribution team is responsible for the distribution of Corporate and Financial Institution Trade assets, helping optimize capital, manage portfolio capacity, and support the growth of the broader J.P. Morgan Trade & Working Capital franchise.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day distribution of the Americas Corporate and FI Trade portfolio
  • Assist with developing TWC distribution capabilities includes structured distribution alternatives
  • Maintain and develop relationships with secondary market Trade investors across the Americas, with a focus on supporting CIB clients deals
  • Provide feedback on distribution capacity to Trade Sales and other Trade team members
  • Collaborate with Trade Sales team members to structure transactions that align with the local market environment
  • Oversee Trade Distribution standard documentation and other trade-related documents, including assignment agreements, participation agreements, broker agreements, and insurance policies
  • Support senior team members in trade execution, pricing and related distribution activities to optimize capital and returns of the TWC business
  • Understand and assess competition, capital markets, accounting, macroeconomic and regulatory dynamics affecting Trade and Working Capital


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a Financial Institution with focus on Trade Finance, and/or Corporate risk related transactions
  • Demonstrated knowledge about Trade Finance products, such as Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, and Core Trade products
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to research, analyze, organize and prioritize work with guidance
  • Strong desire and aptitude to learn and improve current processes
  • Effective time management, organizational, and planning skills, with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and strong analytical and quantitative skills
