Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in electrical power systems.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
• Proficient in Autocad and/or Revit software.
• Experience in steady-state and dynamic power analyses using ETAP and possibly OpenDSS, PSCAD, PSS/E.
• Familiar with NEC, NESC, and IEEE codes and standards.
• Experience with MV and substation interconnection/protection is a plus.
• PE license or NABCEP certification is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Lead as a technical expert for DER projects connecting at distribution and transmission for utility-scale projects.
• Oversee the design and study of solar PV and battery energy storage systems projects.
• Ensure collaboration across mechanical, civil, structural, and electrical disciplines throughout project lifecycles.
• Conduct steady-state and dynamic power studies and modeling for various scale projects.
• Maintain high precision and accuracy in technical work, utilizing methodical approaches.
