Technical Program Manager, Data Center Design

This is a full-time role. Located in New York, NY

Summary

The Technical Program Manager, Data Center Design will lead end-to-end management of large-scale data center design programs from project initiation through construction-ready handoff. This role is responsible for driving schedule execution, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, establishing program governance, and building scalable processes that accelerate project delivery. The ideal candidate brings experience managing complex design or construction programs, excels at identifying risks and dependencies, and thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments supporting mission-critical infrastructure development.

  • 5+ years of experience leading technical program management, design management, or project management initiatives for complex engineering, construction, or infrastructure programs

  • Experience managing large capital projects, mission-critical facilities, or data center developments preferred

  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules across architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, technology, and specialty design disciplines
  • Establish and manage program governance processes including milestone gates, design reviews, change control procedures, and decision logs
  • Create and maintain scalable program management templates, standards, playbooks, and reporting frameworks
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, deliverables, and timelines
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and execution challenges before they impact schedules
  • Drive issue resolution and accountability across internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status updates, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, standardization, and delivery speed across the organization
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale mission-critical infrastructure programs supporting next-generation computing environments

Compensation & Benefits
  • The pay for this position ranges from approximately $72.12/hr - $120.19/hr based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
