Position Summary

Position Summary
The Technical Program Manager is a high-impact role at the operational center of Carlyle's Corporate Services Technology. Familiarity with core accounting and finance concepts such as fund accounting, treasury and cash management, payments, and tax is a plus, as is experience with the systems that support them; a demonstrated ability to quickly build domain knowledge in new areas is equally valued. This foundation, combined with program discipline, enables the individual to translate business priorities into delivered outcomes. The ideal candidate brings finance operations fluency, a track record of driving cross-functional programs to completion, and the judgment to engage credibly with senior stakeholders. This is not an engineering role.

The candidate is expected to bring working knowledge in one or more of the following finance domains and demonstrate the ability to develop fluency across others through structured onboarding and stakeholder engagement.

In-Office Requirement: 4 days per week

Program Delivery & Agile Execution
• Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple initiatives, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality are met
• Foster consistent agile practices across domain teams, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Proactively identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and blockers to senior stakeholders

Accounting Systems and Business Process Design
• Apply a working understanding of core accounting concepts (general ledger, fund accounting, AP/AR, Billing, treasury operations, financial close) to inform technology decisions and prioritize workstreams
• Develop fluency across Carlyle's finance platforms and how they support upstream and downstream accounting processes; diagnose inefficiencies and direct practical, technology-enabled solutions delivery in partnership with engineering teams and finance process owners
• Ensure delivered solutions align with accounting and operational requirements and are fit for long-term use by finance operations teams
