Job Title: Technical Product Owner (Agile IT Solutions)

Overview / Summary The Technical Product Owner 2 is responsible for owning the delivery of complex IT products and solutions from concept through deployment. This role works closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications aligned with organizational goals. The position leverages technical expertise and product management experience to enhance product delivery, improve team efficiency, and support the product vision and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities - Own, manage, prioritize, and refine the product backlog aligned with business objectives
- Write clear, actionable user stories and epics incorporating technical requirements and constraints
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate estimation and task breakdown
- Act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders to align requirements with business goals
- Partner with architects, developers, and DevOps engineers on solution design, feasibility, and scalability
- Contribute to product vision, strategy, and roadmap development
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform product decisions
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews
- Champion Agile best practices and drive process improvements
- Translate complex technical requirements into actionable product features
- Document technical workflows, data models, APIs, and integrations
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and technical discussions across teams
- Define and enforce acceptance criteria and collaborate with QA on testing and product readiness
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions
- Coordinate product releases with DevOps, release management, and support teams
- Monitor product performance post-launch and drive continuous improvements
- Support applications across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
- Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure application performance and stability
- Assist with cloud migration strategies and ensure governance and performance monitoring
- Serve as liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors
- Ensure applications comply with industry regulations and security standards (SOX, PCI-DSS)
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related technical role in an IT environment
- Experience working with Agile development teams and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- Experience leading technical discussions and collaborating with developers, architects, and DevOps engineers
- Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, cloud technologies, databases, and software development practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of data management, integrations, and APIs
- Understanding of automation tools, monitoring, and logging platforms
Preferred Qualifications - Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or SAFe
- Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native applications
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, or containerization technologies
