Job Details
At Salesforce, our Product Marketers craft sharp product messaging and positioning, go-to-market programs, campaigns, events, and sales enablement. Our success is defined by our ability to deliver relevant content and activations that move people to act.
We are looking for a strategic, highly motivated, and technically fluent Director of Product Marketing to define how the market understands MuleSoft’s role in the agentic enterprise. In this role, you will own MuleSoft’s portfolio narrative and drive its activation across the full product marketing lifecycle - including positioning, launch, analyst relations, and core field enablement assets. You will work cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and sales teams to build a market-leading narrative on the connected foundation for multi-agent architectures and enterprise-grade AI.
Responsibilities & Impact
- Narrative Ownership: Scale and own MuleSoft's flagship portfolio narrative framework, anchoring messaging within its core pillars: Open by Design, Engineered for Trust, and High Velocity Delivery.
- Unified Data Strategy: Co-own the joint MuleSoft + Informatica + Data 360 application and data integration positioning to deliver a unified "Trusted Context" narrative.
- AI-First Portfolio GTM: Influence and drive positioning for the AI-native product portfolio by unifying solutions such as Agent Fabric, Anypoint Platform, Omni Gateway, and Trusted Agent Identity.
- Technical Architecture Storytelling: Craft the canonical story for how MuleSoft functions as the agentic control plane for the headless enterprise, highlighting headless architectures, and advanced AI gateway features.
- Sales Enablement & Field Readiness: Support a high-impact library of sales plays, pitch decks, demo scripts, battlecards, and objection handling tailored to technical and line-of-business personas.
- Analyst Relations & Category Leadership: Engage directly and support preparation for meetings with key analysts (Gartner, Forrester, IDC) to influence category definitions and placement.
- Executive Engagement: Partner directly with senior leadership (GMs, CMOs) to develop mainstage keynote content and demo concepts for flagship global events, including Dreamforce and Connect:AI.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, solutions engineering, or executive content development in enterprise software.
- Credible technical fluency with relevant topics such as integration, APIs, enterprise architecture, and microservices design.
- Proven track record of crafting mainstage keynote narratives and partnering directly with senior leadership (SVP and C-level executives).
- Excellent tactical execution and writing skills across diverse formats (keynote scripts, executive briefs, blogs, and customer-facing decks) with the ability to deal with ambiguity and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in the AI, integration, iPaaS, data management, or API management space.
- Hands-on familiarity with agentic AI frameworks, open protocols including Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A), and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and market effectively to both developer communities and business line-of-business audiences.
- Prior background as a developer, solutions architect, sales engineer, or product manager that has been translated into a marketing career.
