About the roleAs a
Technical Product Manager, you will make an impact by driving the technical vision, scalability, and performance of digital products. You will be a valued member of the product team and work collaboratively with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions.
In this role, you will:- Define technical product strategies, including architecture, system design, and technology stack decisions to ensure scalability and performance
- Translate business and customer needs into detailed technical requirements, including user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria
- Identify and proactively address system bottlenecks, technical risks, and dependencies to maintain delivery velocity
- Lead product validation activities, including beta testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Analyze product performance using data, metrics, and database queries to drive continuous improvement

2-3 days per week in a Cognizant or client office in

What you need to have to be considered:- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on technical product delivery
- Proven experience working closely with engineering teams on system design, architecture, and scalable platforms
- Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and actionable deliverables
- Experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, and writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Solid analytical skills with experience using data and SQL/database queries to evaluate product performance
- Experience managing product testing cycles, including beta testing and UAT
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
These will help you stand out:- Background in software engineering, data engineering, or system architecture
- Experience working on high-scale, performance-driven digital products
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data/engineering stacks
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks
- Experience in customer [i] -facing or client-driven delivery environments

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $100,000 - $120,000 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
