Position Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Tech Lead/Lead Engineer to join our software development team. In this role, you will lead a small POD style team in building enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and React.

This role can be performed anywhere within the US. EST time zone preferred.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and React
Lead a small team of developers and mentor junior developers
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance engineers, to deliver high quality software solutions
Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Continuously improve software development processes, tools, and methodologies

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
10+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and React
Strong leadership skills with experience leading a team of developers
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non technical stakeholders
Experience with agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with cloud based technologies, such as AWS or Azure

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $127,500.00 $251,100.00.
