Responsibilities

  • Identify growth opportunities to expand ABB’s service contracts with clients.
  • Regularly track and communicate performance metrics to stakeholders.

This position reports to:

Team Leader

In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty in your assigned accounts. Each day, you will assist with customers’ technical requests and engage with colleagues to take care of any technical issues. You will also showcase your expertise by managing service contracts deliverables, on time delivery, customers’ requirements, and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPI), while keeping track of performance metrics and communicating progress to internal and customer stakeholders.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Energy Industries NAM Hub in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the customer in a proactive manner by anticipating the customer’s needs and leveraging familiarity with their assigned accounts.

  • Ensuring that the plant fleet under service agreement receives evolution plans and life cycle reports supported by technology segment experts.

  • Measuring, reporting, and presenting the value of the services delivered to key customer stakeholders ranging from Maintenance Managers to Plant Managers.

  • Identifying service and system sales opportunities to expand ABB’s value to the customer and for growing the service contracts with their assigned customers.


Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

  • 10+ years of experience working with control systems in a technical capacity.
    (Preferred: working as System Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Technical Support, R&D Engineer or similar)

  • You are immersed in the Service Delivery and the Process Automation Energy Industries markets.

  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Control systems technologies. This includes consoles, control system hardware, control logic design, and networking. (Preferred: Expertise in System 800xA, Symphony Plus, and ABB Heritage products).

  • You are passionate about delivering world-class service and technical support.

  • You are at ease communicating both technical and commercial status to site personnel.
